We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our Marketing team as a Marketing Design Intern **.* This is a **Coop-opportunity* at our **Head Office in Abbotsford, BC**.
The Marketing Design Intern will be assisting with internal projects, develop experience in producing print & digital designs, learning about corporate design and marketing processes, and developing an understanding around the relationship between design and marketing. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Specialist, the Marketing Design Intern will assist in ensuring the marketing needs of the company are met.

**JOB DUTIES**:

- Assist in maintaining design templates for various marketing mediums
- Assist in producing print designs and prepping files for submission to the publications
- Assist in producing designs for digital mediums and prepping files for submission
- Assist in maintaining Adobe creative cloud asset library
- Assist in producing internal branded collateral for corporate head office
- Assist in producing contextual mock-ups and packages for signs and building projects
- Assist and collaborate with team members within and outside of the national marketing department
- Assist and monitoring tracking links and analytics
- Assist in maintaining website content
- Assist in producing digital ads and social media posts
- Assist in maintaining and contributing to existing marketing, design and brand standards and processes
- Providing insight on upcoming marketing, design or digital trends for the marketing department

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited school program in Marketing, Design, New Media Arts or related field
- Display fundamental knowledge of fundamental elements and principles of graphic design
- Display fundamental knowledge and proficiency in colour theory, layout, and composition
- Display fundamental knowledge on design thinking
- Display fundamental knowledge around print processes and mediums
- Display fundamental knowledge around marketing concepts, principles and strategy.
- Display proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Display proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Animation fundamentals and proficiency with Adobe After Effects, an asset but not required
- Video production fundamentals and proficiency with Adobe Premiere, an asset but not required
- Displays understanding of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Displays understanding of various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram & TikTok

WORK CONDITIONS:

- Expected to be in office Monday-Friday and may vary depending on conditions of employment or co-op program.
