**The Role**:Calgary Eating Disorder Program Liaison - Full Time

This position is Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm with the occasional weekend or evening work.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a program that partners with the Calgary Eating Disorder Program (CEDP) through Alberta Health Services, providing specialized services to meet the needs of Albertans of all ages with a diagnosis of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and other specified feeding or eating disorders.

Services include:

- assessment
- outpatient treatment
- day treatment program
- inpatient services
- consultations and referrals to doctors, therapists, and community groups
- information sessions for family and friends of patients
- educational workshops for healthcare professionals and students

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Manage clinic physical space
- Ensure nutrition plans and meal planning are followed
- Cover for clinic staff and facilitate groups
- Build relationships with AHS & Trellis programs
- Facilitate natural support connection for clients
- Patient care documentation through AHS Connect Care
- Complete monthly and annual programming reports
- Engage in community events and initiatives
- System navigation and refer clients within the Trellis continuum of programs to have needs met
- Stay up to date with both Trellis & AHS training requirements

**What You'll Bring to The Role**:

- A degree in the Human Services field (Child & Youth Care, Social Work, Justice Studies, etc.) or a combination of a diploma in Human Services and work experience may be considered
- Knowledge of eating disorders considered an asset
- Comprehensive understanding of crisis and conflict resolution skills
- Interest in clinical based work
- Abundance of empathy, kindness and understanding of Mental Health challenges
- Excellent Assessment Skills
- Utilize collaborative skills to engage with clients and quickly build relationships with clients and their supports
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Effectively work within a team and independently
- Able to provide a Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector search and Child Intervention Record Check
- Valid Class 5 Driver's license, driver's abstract, and reliable vehicle with $2,000,000 liability insurance
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C & AED

Reports to Trellis Manager
