Nanny/caregiver

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Supervise and care for children in our home
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home especially when parents are at work or not available
- Bathe, dress and get children ready for school
- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping responsibilities
- Support the children psychosocial development through supervision of meals and rest periods,
- Provide support to children to enhance their educational growth through activities such as games, help with assignments
- Instruct children in personal hygiene, help children in getting ready for school
- Take children to school bus pick up and drop off area, and to other non-school appointments
- keep records of daily activities for each child and report to parents

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working with children of various ages
- Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities, games, and educational resources
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Basic cooking skills to prepare meals for children

Possession of Food Safe and CPR Certifications is an added advantage

This is a paid position. The rate of pay will be discussed during the interview process.

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

- childcare: 2 years (preferred)
