Job Responsibilities:
Outline: Prepare facilities, assist in steam room, and execute not medical massages.

Details:
1. Greet clients, inquire about their appointment status, and relay relevant information to the

associated spa therapist.

2. Prepare spa facilities by ensuring all supplies and equipment are available and laid out

according to procedures.

3. Prepare the steam room, including fire-starting, maintaining the fire in the woodstove,

and pre-heating the steam room to the proper temperature.4. Oversee the cleanliness and sanitization of the premises, ensuring proper disposal of

waste materials.

5. Deal with guest inquiries and provide information in-person.

6. Replenish supplies required for massages, facials, and manicures on a regular basis.

7. Coordinate efforts to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of supplies and equipment.

8. Distribute linen, such as fresh sheets and towels, in treatment rooms and assist in laundry

duties, such as washing and drying towels and aprons.

9. Sanitize bathrooms, grooming rooms, and wet areas according to the spa management's

standards.

10. Instruct clients on where they can change their clothes and assign lockers to them.

11. Assume responsibility for opening and closing the spa at designated times.

12. Assist the Sauna-Master during steam room treatments.

13. Assist licensed therapists and beauticians during lounge area treatments.

14. Provide services in the steam room, including air wrapping and aromatherapy, after

proper training.

15. Optionally learn and provide other spa services to clients (except the services requiring a

special license in Ontario) after proper training.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
