**Purpose of the position**

The position will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Providing administrative support with respect to identifying, obtaining, and coordinating grant funding from external sources to fund county programs and services.
- Establishing and compiling information and reports, and managing follow-up actions, as it pertains to the department
- Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this position, you will come to us with:

- A Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or Accounting.
- At least 1-2 years working in an office environment.
- Combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Previous municipal or other government experience would be an asset.
- A satisfactory Drivers Abstract and Criminal Record Check
- Position details
- Part-time permanent position (working 1-3 days per week)
- Salary: $29.64 - $38.38/hr
- Compensation also includes: a comprehensive health & dental benefits package (100% employer paid), and participation in our LAPP Pension plan.
