**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and farm machinery, including tractors, loaders, and other related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, and hydraulic system checks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective repairs.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
- Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately assess equipment performance.
- Work with the management team to schedule regular maintenance and prioritize repair tasks.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a technician specializing in heavy equipment or farm machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Valid driver’s license (G) and own transportation.

**Assets**:

- Certification or formal training in heavy equipment or farm machinery repair.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience with computerized diagnostic systems.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Bilingual ability is an asset.

**Start Date**:
As soon as possible.

**Compensation**:
Hourly range from $26-32/hr, commensurate with experience. A benefits package is included.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
