Edmonton, Canada Bartle & Gibson Co. Ltd. Full time

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assign packing slips and scan sheets to Receivers when Product comes in.
- Assist courier deliveries (Puro, UPS, Fed-Ex, Canpar, Loomis, GLS) When Courier Receiver is unavailable.
- Page Courier receivers to the doors when courier arrives.
- Page Dock Master to the doors when Freight Companies are delivering Skids.
- Create Paperwork for PO’s and Stock transfers from other Bartle and Gibson Branches coming into Bartle and Gibson Main Warehouse for the receiver to receive product.
- Monitor and Inspect the completed work making corrections where needed.
- Assign Variances to Purchasing Department for any PO discrepancies (i.e., Short or Over Shipments, Wrong Product sent, product Not ordered and Damaged Product).
- Enter Data into Pinpoint system with Completed PO’s and Stock Transfers.
- Ensure Shipping desk is aware of any Cross Docking for other Bartle and Gibson Branches.
- Follow up on PO’s the following day if there are outstanding Put Aways 24 hours old.
- Daily printing of report for P/O Receipt Details List (discrepancy report) to follow up on discrepancies from the previous day completed POs, once everything has been verified take completed packing slips to reception so they can scan them into Imaging.
- Take MTR’s (Material Test Report) to Accounts Payable.
- Manage high priority receiving requests from the Sales, Accounts Payable and Purchasing Departments.
- Assist Inventory Control, Shipping and Customer Shipping Departments with any requests.
- Assist Receivers in researching and locating of products in the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**
- High school diploma or equivalent **required**:

- Previous experience in a head receiver role an **asset**:

- Previous Building Supplies retail experience** preferred**:

- Previous warehouse experience **desirable**:

- Knowledge of or previous experience in the Plumbing/Electrical industry an** asset**
