Halton Crushed Stone is an aggregate supplier, producing crushed limestone, sand & gravel and we pride ourselves in providing quality customer service.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for leading and mentoring the logistics team, assisting Sales with administrative support, and focuses on overall efficient logistics operations and customer service.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Lead, motivate and mentor the logistics team
- Generate, interpret and verify the accuracy of internal reports
- Analyze trends, perform data analyses and provide recommendations for increased efficiencies
- Manage all aggregates billings
- Ensures the logistics team is adhering to the company’s trucking management processes
- Provides support to the Sales team with various functions and reports.
- Oversee and reconcile the resale ticket process
- Track and maintain Sales Production Inventory tracker
- Track depot inventory levels and schedule in-bound materials as needed.
- Participate with on-boarding of new dispatch personnel as required
- Participate in dispatch duties, including but not limited to:

- Operate the scale system and process weigh tickets.
- Check/tare in trucks
- Collect documentation as per requirements for transport vehicles and inform Management of any discrepancies.
- Process credit/debit sales and reconcile daily.
- Maintain accurate records of scale house and Hauler activities.
- Provide assistance via phone or face-to-face contact with visitors, clients, and drivers.
- Helping management and other teams draw business goals and needs
- Responsible for reporting any observed safety violations and/or hazards to supervisors and management.
- Not only support the logistics functions of Halton Crushed Stone, but other areas of the Crupi Group, as required.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 5 years of dispatch experience with construction or aggregate materials.
- At least 3 years of experience with leading a team.
- Strong computer skills, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Applies a positive & optimistic attitude

- Detail-oriented, thorough and accurate when entering data
- Communicates effectively with the ability to build relationships with customers, haulers, and teammates, and is customer-driven
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to listen and coach others

- Reliability

**Location**: The Dispatch Supervisor is required to travel to our various aggregate sites within the GTA.

**Hours of operation**: This is a Monday-Friday role, however needs to be available outside of regular business hours during certain circumstances/emergencies.
