**This is a Full Time position offering benefits after 3 months**

**Your Day to Day**:

- Update, maintain and report MARS/TARS, Physician Medication Reviews and Admission Order Sets
- Maintain organized and complete resident health records ensuring appropriate documentation and continuity of care
- Collaborate with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, timely and completely while optimizing medication continuity and resident outcomes
- Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures
- Consult with members of the pharmacy management and registered pharmacy team when there are unresolved issues surrounding day to day work functions
- Provide exceptional customer care to LTC homes and retirement communities serviced by CareRx Pharmacy
- Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practice of pharmacy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Participate in the after-hours schedule when required
- Perform duties and accountabilities of the “Pharmacy Assistant” when required

**What You Bring To The Team**:

- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant preferred
- LTC Pharmacy Assistant experience preferred
- An understanding of provincial regulations governing LTC homes and Retirement Communities
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Skilled in critical thought processes with the ability to prioritize appropriately
- Self-directed requiring mínimal supervision
- Motivated to achieve results that reflect a high standard of quality
- Dependable and responsible in the execution of job duties
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with KROLL, PointClickCare and Mede-care/E-care an asset
