**Responsibilities**:
- Create and prepare a variety of curry dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and supervise the stock to maintain an adequate supply of ingredients.
- Follow sanitation and safety
- Procedures and ensure that the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise to ensure the quality and consistency of dishes.
- Collaborate with the restaurant's management to develop new curry dishes and create daily specials.
- Manage and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, tandoor and fryers, to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in food and ingredients to ensure the restaurant remains competitive and innovative.
- Manage inventory to help management ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and profitably.

- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs
- Dependable and available to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, weekends).
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Indian cuisine chef.
- In-depth knowledge of various spices.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to ensure that the kitchen and food preparation areas are clean and free from contamination.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
