Aperçu des principales responsabilités

Relevant du Vice-président aux finances, la personne retenue assumera un large éventail de tâches, notamment:

- Reporting mensuel/trimestriel/annuel pour un certain nombre d’entités ainsi qu’un large éventail d’autres tâches liées aux finances;
- Tenir des registres comptables pour un certain nombre d’entités;
- Rassembler des informations de gestion pour aider les dirigeants à prendre des décisions éclairées concernant les investissements;
- Soutenir la haute direction avec la préparation de présentations et de rapports;
- Assurer la liaison avec des conseillers externes tels que des avocats, des comptables, des banquiers et des auditeurs;
- Gérer certains problèmes opérationnels ou administratifs selon les besoins;
- Coordonner et/ou remplir certains documents pour respecter les exigences de conformité, y compris les déclarations de TPS/TVQ, les déclarations annuelles d’entreprise, les procès-verbaux/résolutions, etc.;
- Préparer l’information et coordonner l’achèvement des déclarations fiscales avec les comptables fiscaux externes;
- Se tenir au courant des changements (c.à-d. fiscalité, marchés financiers, réglementation) et en évaluer les impacts possibles;
- Contribuer à l’amélioration des processus comptables et opérationnels.

Qualifications et compétences recherchées
- Titre comptable CPA;
- Minimum 5 ans d’expérience pertinente;
- Expérience avec les compagnies de placements et/ou les « holdings » (atout);
- Expérience et/ou intérêt pour la fiscalité;
- Quelques qualités recherchées : professionnalisme, sens développé de l’intégrité et de l’éthique, autonomie, initiative, « ownership »/ »accountability », rigueur et discrétion;
- Bilinguisme (essentiel, l’environnement est davantage anglophone).
