Selkirk, Canada On the Rocks Bar Full time

Bar securities focus is on ensuring the protection of any establishment. In this role, you may perform an ID check on customers at the bar entrance, help enforce safety regulations, and deal with rowdy or drunk patrons. Bar security also help to protect property, eject people from the building, and resolve other conflicts as they occur. This job will require working nights and weekend shifts.

The primary qualifications a bar security guard are the physical ability to provide protection to customers and manage the bar entrance. We prefer applicants who have some formal security training. Security guards may be drawn into fights with unruly or rowdy customers. Fulfilling the duties of a bar security job requires leadership skills and an authoritative presence.

Must possess or be willing to obtain Smart Choices certification.

Must be available to work Wednesday to Saturday 9pm-12:30/1am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
