G Force Security represents years of experience in providing security solutions against vandalism, theft, physical aggression, personal safety concerns and parking control issues within commercial, industrial and residential markets. We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to the premises. If you have a strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring the safety of others, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative.
- Assist with any questions from members of the public coming onto the premises and direct them to the appropriate group/individual, as required.
- Enforce property rules and regulations and the Trespass to Property Act to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets.
- Oversee the logging in and out of site equipment.
- Respond to all emergencies (medical, building, etc.)
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
- Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
- Monitor and control access at defined facility and property entry control points and assigned security posts.
- Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
- Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.
- Working in both Indoor and Outdoor Conditions

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent

**Training and Certification must have**
- Trespass to Property Act of Ontario
- Charter of Rights and Freedoms
- Ontario Human Rights Code
- Smart Serve Certificate as asset
- First Aid/CPR (Level C) with Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Patrol Procedures
- Fire Prevention
- Conflict Resolution/De-Escalation Training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Security guard: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
