Roofer

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and metal roofs.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during roofing projects.
- Perform caulking to ensure proper sealing of roofs against water infiltration.
- Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed on job sites.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a related construction field such as carpentry or maintenance person services.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- roofing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
