**JOB POSTING -**_**2 Material Handlers**_
- **1 Material Handler for Plant & 1 Material Handler for Warehouse**_
- **The Material Handler**_ _is responsible for material handling functions throughout the plant or warehouse ensuring that all materials are stored and organized in proper storage areas in preparation for morning production._

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible daily for material handling functions throughout the plant/warehouse
- Responsible for verification of requisitions for accuracy of product and accurate count
- Responsible for delivery of materials to staging area for inspection
- Ensure proper reporting of any discrepancies of materials and update the “teams’ system” for correction
- Responsible for preparation of the mainline assembly workstations with validating the raw materials
- Delivery of the wrappers to designated assembly lines as they become available from the metal shop
- Dispense metal materials to their home locations as they become available from the metal shop
- Consolidate any packaging at the package station to clear clutter and maintain 5S
- Consolidate skids and cardboard spacers to their home locations and dock area
- Responsible for wrapping any finished goods and stage on dock for transportation to warehouse
- Responsible for the inventory accuracy/organization both throughout the plant/warehouse and in delegated areas, monitoring inventory levels reporting shortages to procurement
- Responsible for daily safety check of forklift and vehicles and to safely drive equipment in a safe manner
- Responsible for timely delivery of materials as noted on Requisition Requests
- Responsible to report any damages done to equipment or materials in a timely manner
- Responsible for managing appropriate inventory of skids
- To work co-operatively and communicate effectively with co-workers
- Seeking direction as needed from Warehouse Supervisor, Production Leaders and co-workers
