Ironworker Apprentice

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Apprentice Ironworker to join our team.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Able to lift 50lbs
- Accuracy with reading measuring tapes
- Work in a fast paced setting
- Work well with others
- Basic understanding of drawings or cut lists (ASSET)
- 1st year welder apprentice (ASSET)
- Must be punctual
- Previous experience in steel process or welding / fitting (ASSET)
- Valid CWB tickets considered an ASSET
- Knowledge of steel process tools (grinders, bandsaw, ironworker considered an ASSET)
- General laborer to support in welding to install miscellaneous metals.
- Construction experience an asset.
- Problem solving skills.
- A safety-oriented work ethic supported by experience within the labor industry.
- The ability to follow instructions, rules and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work as a valuable member of a team.
- Must have your own PPE.

Currently Monday-Thursday 10 hour shift with Fridays off.

Shop located just outside of Fort Saskatchewan across the river.

**INTERESTED Applicants**

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
