**Job Description**:
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Event Generalist to join our new dynamic team. As an Event Generalist, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of events at our venue. This position requires a blend of organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of events, including managing schedules, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring all event requirements are met.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during their event, addressing their needs and ensuring their expectations are met.
- Venue Setup: Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors (caterers, florists, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and setup of services.
- Troubleshooting: Address any issues or unexpected challenges that arise during events to ensure smooth operations.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of events and client communications.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for clients and guests.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in event planning, coordination, event staff or related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
- Personality: Friendly, proactive, creative and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. Must be able to work min. 3 hours and up to 10 hour shifts.
