**Job Type**: Full-time

Location: Toronto/Hybrid

**We are looking for**:
A technically well-versed individual who has familiarity with and interest in Sports or iGaming. This individual would leverage their familiarity with database querying (SQL), log aggregation services (Splunk/ELK/Datadog...), Cloud Monitoring & Deployment tools (Grafana, Lens ) to monitor, support and improve Pinnacle’s Trading Technology platform.

Your primary objective will be to support Pinnacle’s Trading and Operations Teams to ensure the consistent and effective operation of Pinnacle’s Trading Technology. The secondary objective is to assist Software Development and RnD Teams by assisting with Releases, Deployments and Monitoring of Trading Technology changes.

**Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for ensuring Trading Technology is operating as expected.
- Interact with Trading and Technology Departments when handling and following up on Trading issues.
- Assess and prioritize Trading Technology issues based on urgency and importance.
- Monitor performance of Trading Technology Software and Platform
- Build Tools and Alerts to effectively monitor Trading Technology

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate coordination between Operational and Technological teams.
- Ability to multi-task and work on several different projects simultaneously.
- Initiative to work independently but also able to work effectively with team members.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Degree or Diploma in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or similar field or other relevant work
- Experience in Sports Betting or Trading (Optional)
- Experience using ticket systems like JIRA, Zendesk
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with general query language enabled log indexing systems such as Splunk or ELK.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year
