Skilled Carpenter Wanted

Nanaimo, Canada Mount Benson Developments Inc. Full time

**Prerequisites**:

- 3-5 years experience minimum
- Valid Drivers license and vehicle
- Hand tools, work clothing, and PPE + Steel Toe Workboots
- Focused on safety, quality, and productivity
- Positive attitude and a good problem solver
- Good communication skills and the readiness to work well in a team environment
- Punctual, reliable, and professional

**Responsibilities**:

- Concrete form work including Footings, foundations, stairs, driveway-walkway curbing and basic concrete finishing
- Framing to lock-up, window/door prep and install, and back framing.
- Exterior siding Installation
- Interior finishing including floor installation
- Clean and organize the job site as well as well protecting finished materials
- Landscaping elements including Allan block walls
- Communicate well with subtrades and all personon the job site
- Bonus if you know how to operate small equipment such as skid steer / mini-ex

**Job Type**: Full Time

Wages: $30.00-$35.00 per hour based off experience

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
