**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers to translate research ideas into innovative prototypes and algorithms
- Manipulate, explore, analyze, and visualize data using novel and existing algorithms to extract key insights from neurological and clinical datasets
- Assist in the formulation, development, and optimization of scientific processes
- Summarize findings in technical reports, patents, and publications and present results to a range of scientific and business stakeholders
- Stay up to date on developments within relevant fields (i.e. neuroscience, engineering, & data science) through methods such as reading academic journals, ongoing education programs, and attending conferences.
- Contribute across the life cycle of research studies and clinical trials, including study design, initiation, data collection, data analysis, and results dissemination
- Analyze data from post-market surveillance to identify opportunities for ongoing product improvement
- Work with engineering teams to translate research findings into design requirements and assist with integration into production software and hardware
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications and Experience**
- BSc in biomedical engineering, computational neuroscience, or a related field
- Experience with electroencephalography, or other biomedical and medical imaging signal modalities
- 1+ years of practical biomedical research experience
- Demonstrated scientific track record including publications, presentations, and other contributions Scientific computing in Python (e.g. NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) and/or R
- Advanced statistical, mathematical, and/or machine learning techniques using packages such as sci-kit learn, stats models, Keras, or PyTorch

- This is a full-time position
- You will be based in the HealthTech Connex head office located at 13761 96th Avenue, Surrey.
- We work in a hybrid work environment
