At Danna HomeCare, we specialize in providing high-quality staffing solutions to hospitals, long-term care facilities, and healthcare providers. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate **Personal Support Workers (PSWs)** to join our team and provide exceptional care in a hospital setting. As a PSW with our agency, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, assisting patients with daily activities and ensuring they receive the support they need to recover and thrive.

As a PSW, you will work closely with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct care to patients in a hospital environment. You will be responsible for assisting patients with their personal care needs, supporting their comfort, and ensuring a safe and compassionate environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Support patients with emotional needs by providing companionship and encouragement.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Help with light housekeeping and environmental care in patient rooms.
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain proper documentation of care activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification from an accredited program.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
