**Your Opportunity**:
The Collections Coordinator will oversee the selection, processing and delivery of collections in all formats, including physical and electronic materials. You will monitor collection usage patterns and provide recommendations on areas of improvement as well as new resources to be acquired. In this position, you will work with the Integrated Library System (ILS) to ensure the catalogue is accessible and accurate with a customer service focus. As a member of the Planning Team, you will be involved in developing new initiatives for our strategic plan, integrating DEI principles into our collection, championing staff, service delivery and design.

**Working Conditions**:
Salary Range: $64,477 to $78,372 annually (under review)

Status: Regular Full-Time

Schedule: 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Master of Library Science degree or other post-graduate discipline from an accredited College/University or an equivalent combination of education and experience to the satisfaction of the CEO
- Experience in project management with the ability to effectively balance multiple responsibilities and priorities
- Experience coaching and training staff
- Strong customer service orientation and experience in public libraries
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapidly changing work environment, including working in a multi-faceted team
- Commitment to life-long learning
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills with the ability to network and develop community partnerships
- Experienced working with confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of the _Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, Accessibility for Ontarians Disability Act _and the _Occupation Health and Safety Act_
- A satisfactory, Standard Criminal Record Check is required prior to commencement of employment
