Host/hostess

**Milestones Grill & Bar Restaurant is looking for a Hosts/Hostesses to join our team at the Newmarket location**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming guests while making genuine conversation as you seat them
- Demonstrate genuine hospitality day-in and day-out
- Work well in a team environment and under high stress
- Ability to multi-task and take direction
- Cleaning and sanitizing restaurant and dining areas.
- Interacts with guests, co-workers and management in a positive way.
- bussing and cleaning the tables.
- Running the food plates and other host duties.
- General restaurant knowledge is preferred but not required. We will train you to have the experience of a host/host

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- East Gwillimbury, ON L9N 0J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
