Overview:
Commissionaires Great Lakes offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile, highly motivated Security Professional. We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, strong working knowledge of computer systems, CCTV experience, a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service, security and protection for our client's site. As a front-line representative of our company and client’s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with mínimal supervision, have the ability to m and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The commissionaire will report and work with the Site Supervisor and Regional Manager. They will utilize the post orders to provide superior customer service, security and protection to their client and the client’s property/assets.
- EAST GATE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Provide 24-hour monitoring of incoming and outgoing vehicles
- Maintain access control procedure for the plant using a computer system
- Monitor phone and radio systems and with with the onsite Emergency Response Team during emergencies
- Follow all policies to the letter

SOUTH GATE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Provide 24-hour monitoring of incoming and outgoing trucks - Market Street
- Maintain access control procedure
- Systems security truck entry/exit log sheet to be maintained in an orderly and neat manner
- Follow C-TPAT Certification requirement
- Arriving Trucks
- Log the following information on the truck entry/exit sheet: Date & Time in/out (24-hour clock), Trucking Company (Name), Cab number, Trailer number in/out, Seal Numbers if applicable
- Check off if Locks is required
- Remover Seal (if applicable)
- Place lock if load will be left in the yard, Instruct Driver to report to Shipping and Receiving (S&R)
- South gate to give truck driver directions to designated dock door (use map if necessary)
- Departing Trucks

Required Education, Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 1 years of Security Guard experience, Valid Ontario Security Guard License, Valid First Aid and CPR certificate, The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential, High attention to detail

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ontario Guard License;
- Emergency First Aid with CPR
- Standard First Aid with CPR
- Safety boot and ear protection when in the plant
