**SUMMARY**:
To assist the Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations including but not limited to the technical functions of dispensing medications (PropelRx), maintenance and operations of the store, operating the OLG lottery terminal and cash, managing the front store etc. *The mandate of this pharmacy is to grow our customer base, prescriptions, and front store volume through establishing deep relationships with our customers and providing outstanding customer service. _** **_

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Establish and grow relationships with new and existing customers through exceptional customer service/patient care for pharmacy patients and customers
- **Execute the end-to-end prescription process: processing (in PropelRx) prescriptions, filling, labelling, prepare blister packs**:

- Cash out prescriptions and front store items accurately, operate **OLG lottery terminal** and sales
- Monitor inventory levels of both dispensary and front shop, rotate stock and ensure expired product is removed from the shelf and returned in accordance with guidelines
- Receive pharmacy orders, ensure all products are received, put away received products in appropriate location and reconcile order
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of both pharmacy and front shop, and identify approaching and critical expiry dates on a monthly basis
- Return expired inventory in a timely manner or reduce to sell as appropriate
- Assist in all marketing program which may include front store merchandising, merchandising technique, planograms
- Provide accurate information in response to customer inquiries both in person and over the phone and refer to the pharmacist all the clinical inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness of work space, shelves, and store in general
- Other duties as assigned by pharmacist on duty or Manager

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Must have experience as a Pharmacy Assistant (>2 years preferred)
- Proficiency in PharmaclikRx, **Nexxsys, or PropelRx** is a great asset
- Can work independently and takes initiative to help grow the business
- Outgoing and friendly
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude and exceptional multi-tasking skills

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
