Langley, Canada MSALABS Inc. Full time

This key role will be responsible for both the Canadian and US payroll processes.

**BI-WEEKLY PAYROLL**
- Review timesheet sent by operations, diligently ensure that payroll is accurate
- Verify sick & vacation request
- Calculate pays for statutory holiday, sick, vacation and severance
- Update manual tracking for sick, milage allowance, salary and vacation %
- Bi-weekly Ceridian payroll procedures
- Maintain employees lists on Ceridian and process ROE
- Maintain timesheet to current and share with operations

**MONTH END PAYROLL PROCEDURES**
- Verify employees expense claims and prepare journals
- Prepare monthly payroll reconciliation and prepare Journals
- Prepare monthly headcount report
- Prepare EHT, WCB, CNESST and WSIB filings

**YEAR END PAYROLL PROCEDURES**
- Distribute annual tax forms
- Tax office requirements
- Superannuation, Ceridian, payroll & group tax reconciliations
- Payroll archiving

**VARIOUS PAYROLL**
- Trace any outstanding or missing wage payments
- Updating Ceridian with employee updates
- Letters of employment, payslip requests, separation certificates and confirming employment.
- Enrol employees on Ceridian Self Service
- Updating payroll forms
- Maintenance and updating of personnel files
- Other duties as required

**HUMAN RESOURCES**
- Benefits enrolments and administration
- Onboarding paperwork for new employees
- Provide assistance to the HR Manager as required
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Completion of high school/secondary school
- Completion of degree or diploma in accounting, HR or similar field of study an asset
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- Ceridian Dayforce experience highly desirable
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, MS Dynamics
- Accounting or reconciliation experience, ACCPAC or similar
- Able to exercise a high degree of confidentiality and respect for privacy
- Able to work in the Langley office, 5 days per week
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experienced with Canadian and US employment and payroll regulations
- Additional qualifications and training through the CPA is highly desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
