**Position: Gear Repair & Sewing Alterations Specialist**

Level Six is a continually growing paddle sports manufacture based in Ottawa that offers a dynamic, multifaceted, and strong team influenced working environment.

**The Position**:
We are looking for a gear repair specialist to join our growing team in Ottawa. With our continued growth in North America and Europe we are seeing an increase in demand in repair requests and custom alterations in our dry wear and hardgoods accessory lines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Repairing product on site with our industrial equipped facility

(cylinder arm sewing machine, industrial seam taping machine)
- Facilitating the warranty and repair processes with the customer service
- Providing repair and custom alterations quotes and timelines
- Managing and organizing the repair facility
- Pressure testing drysuits

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of sewing
- Previous experience working with alterations
- Strong work ethic
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Prioritizing, time management, and organization skills
- Strong customer service skills

**Assets**
- Bilingual French/English
- Kayaking and Canoeing experience
- Knowledge of the outdoor activewear and paddling / surf industry

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
