**Hours of work**: Between 20 to 40 hours per week

**Salary**: $31.27/h

**Your role**

The Linehandler is responsible to execute the activities related to the handling of vessel mooring lines during tie-up and cast off procedures, monitor security at the locks by performing inspections and monitoring cameras, and perform minor general labour and lock maintenance tasks, in order to ensure the safe, secure and efficient transit of vessels.

**Your responsibilities**
- Perform all activities related to receiving and casting off mooring lines for vessels.
- Perform general lock maintenance duties and assist in handling minor emergency repairs to lock equipment.
- Perform any activities related to security of the operational facilities, in compliance with the applicable security requirements.

**Your profile**
- Have completed a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of post-secondary studies
- Be a full-time student in the winter 2024 and fall 2024 sessions
- Have a valid class G (ON) driver's license and insurable driving record
