JOIN OUR TEAM:_**
We're currently looking for a full-time Cafe Supervisor to be based at our Oakville cafe. In this role, you would be responsible for the daily supervision of staff to ensure that Pilot’s quality and customer service standards are constantly being met. You must be confident working effectively with a leadership team and delegating tasks to ensure the cafe is running smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high morale amongst staff members. You must be able to uphold Pilots quality standards by leading by example, while fostering an autonomous and constantly evolving team.

**Starting Pay**: $17.00 per hour + tips

**GENERAL OPERATIONS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- An understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of Pilot Coffee Roasters;
- Work with Cafe Manager on monthly sales budgets to achieve desired results
- Control weekly and monthly labour targets, making appropriate adjustments when necessary
- Keep the cafe clean, organized and fully stocked by ensure staff are following daily/weekly checklists
- Inventory, ordering and receiving products while minimizing waste and overhead and addressing/following up with quality related issues
- Report and resolve any inaccuracies or quality issues in orders that are received
- Initiate and execute special projects that improve an area of the business
- All other reasonable duties assigned by the company.

- Assist with staff training including POS, barista, customer service, retail, and health and safety
- Enforce staff policies and procedures and Pilot standards, especially with regards to customer service, cash handling policies and lateness
- Communicate to Cafe Manager PoP Award nominations / recommendations
- All other reasonable duties assigned by the company.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous barista/cafe experience is required
- Previous customer service experience is required
- Experience operating a POS system is required
- Possession of a Food Handler’s Certificate is preferred
