Applications are invited for the position of Professor, Sports Management within the School of Business and Management Studies. This position will commence August 2024 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus.

**Required qualifications include**:
**Required experience**:

- experience with social media and digital platforms, with a focus on increasing fan engagement through interactive and virtual content, would be highly valued.
- Knowledge of e-sports integration, specifically leveraging e-sports to expand sports organizations' reach and appeal to new audiences, is also desirable.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience at a post-secondary level or adult training experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop multi-media materials and alternative delivery strategies and incorporate appropriate educational technologies into the learning process.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate learning with a diverse range of students to support their success.
- History of forging strong working relationships with peers and colleagues.
- Proven willingness to contribute to a strong team environment and positive work culture.
- Evidence of commitment to supporting and guiding students toward their successes.
- Proven ability to deliver course content to a diverse student population.
- Advanced internal and external networking/relationship building and liaison abilities.
- Professional affiliations and related professional designations.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience in curriculum design and development for applied learning which accommodates students’ diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and individual learning styles.
- Experience in virtual/hybrid learning design or delivery.
Practical experience with Brightspace and/or other online learning software programs.
