This role is a paid, full-time, fixed-term summer internship (May through August) and reports to the VP of Marketing.

**About The Position**

Wise Publishing is looking for a talented and motivated marketing intern to work from our Toronto office. In this role, you will participate in marketing editorial content on social media platforms and occasionally help with SEO.

**Responsibilities**

Social media management
- Fostering engagement by monitoring and replying to all comments and posts
- Monitoring social media trends and trending topics
- Reviewing performance data to propose new social media tactics
- Reporting on performance to senior management
- Seeking out revenue generating opportunities

SEO
- Adding internal links to articles to guide readers to other pages
- Updating anchor texts for links to leverage keyword targets
- Reporting on progress to senior management

**Qualifications**
- Expert communication skills in English
- Experience with photo editing (i.e. Canva, Photoshop)
- Understanding of paid and organic social media marketing
- Experience with SEO and backlinking
- Demonstrable willingness to learn, collaborate and develop new skills
- Prior social media marketing experience is considered an asset
- Current university or college student in business, marketing, advertising or communications or a related field of study preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
