House Porter

**Join our team at Inn On The Lake - a boutique hotel between Halifax and the airport, just 20 minutes from Dartmouth.**

**Shifts**:
Work 4 days a week. Every weekend. May be 7-3 or 3-11 shifts. Must be flexible for both.

**Summary of Position**

Responsible for the general cleaning of the common areas, laundry (as required), security of the Hotel.

Respond to guest needs (luggage, extra towels, minor maintenance issues etc.) as requested.

Set up and tear down meeting rooms (table and chair layouts) as required.

**Requirements**:
High School Diploma

Knowledge of general maintenance duties

Ability to lift heavy loads, including up and down stairs

Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment

Capable of working on own with mínimal supervision

Have a pleasant and outgoing attitude and enjoy working with the public

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Own reliable transportation to & from work. Public transportation stops within 1 km of the hotel.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
