**Scope of position**

The Leasing Agent has experience in sales and marketing. They are the sales champion and have the ability to connect with prospects and intuition on how to advance them. They excel at discovering prospects needs, highlighting needs/benefits, managing objections and closing. The Leasing Agent creates an environment that fosters relationship building and hospitality. They excel at customer experience and relationship building, making an effort to go out of their way to make the prospective residents’ experience extraordinary and thoughtful. The Leasing Agent brings a can-do positive approach to teamwork and thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of multi-tasking.

**Accountability Objective**

The primary objective of this role is to develop brand awareness, increase occupancy and develop relationships with prospective residents. The Leasing Agent must demonstrate these abilities to be successful in this role.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Acts as the brand ambassador for the Home and represents the building to the highest quality.
- Ensures sales targets are being met including ensuring strategic plans are being implemented for lead generation, lead advancement, and referral development.
- Monitors and evaluates performance and adjusts strategically.
- Manages all aspects of the sales funnel.
- Provides tours and site visits to prospective residents.
- Develops meaningful relationships with prospects and demonstrate superior service and hospitality.
- Track all sales activity using various client management systems.
- Researches, identifies and facilitates opportunities to participate and engage in the community for the purpose of relationship and referral development, top of mind awareness or partnerships for value add.
- Organizes and promotes lead-generating events for the purpose of client relations or lead generation.
- Participates in regular meetings, planning sessions, completes weekly activity reporting and ensures communications and information is streamlined.
- Self-manages a flexible schedule and is available on evenings or weekends if required.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

Education/Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in business administration, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, or a background in an industry related to the position: real estate, healthcare, geriatrics, hospitality etc. Preference to experience in a geriatric field.
- Must demonstrate a strong ability to operate as a self-manager and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and leadership.
- Willingness to learn, grow and be coached to improve performance.
- Must demonstrate the ability to connect with prospects and the ability to foster genuine relationships.
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and have the intuition to advance prospects through the stages of readiness.
- Must demonstrate the prioritization of time management to ensure efforts are strategic and goal driven.
- Must have a basic understanding of computers including Microsoft programs & CRM’s.
- Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as the Leasing Agent must be available to conduct home visits, community outreach and attend other community development opportunities.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
