Paragon Security is hiring Police Foundations and related law enforcement graduates for “Full-Time Tactical Security Guard” are looking to start their career in Security Industry who are looking to advance their career toward Law enforcement
- **Position**: Full Time, Permanent - Tactical Security Patrol Guard
- **Reporting to**: Shift / Site Supervisor and Paragon Client Service Manager/Director
- **Location**:Toronto, Downtown region properties
- **Schedule**: 12 hours Continental Rotation Schedule of Days and Nights
- **Hours**: 84 hours biweekly
- **Salary**: $20.40 to per hour

**Qualifications**:

- **Valid Ontario Security Guard License**:

- **Physical Demands: excessive walking, standing for 8 to 12 hours**:

- Previous Security Guard experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent Customer Service and above-average computer skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail / observational awareness
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a team

**Working Conditions**
- Required to work, if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long period.
- Could be exposed to hazardous situations and conditions when responding to or managing emergencies or incidents.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems
- Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with
- Obtain statements and collect information for Incident
- Logging in/out of Key, Radio, and pager audits
- Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries
- Report any unsafe working conditions in any/all departments
- Ability to de-escalate a crisis situation, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire, and paramedic resources.
- Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner so as not to create panic among the on-site public
- Respond to all emergency response needs such as providing first aid, missing persons, etc.
- Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly.
- Other duties as outlined by management
