Landscape Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team at the Ladera Townhomes Sun Rivers. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining outdoor spaces, including irrigation systems, retaining, forming pathways, stairs, patios, and driveways, and planting and maintaining gardens and trees. Seasonal until Oct 31, 2024, with opportunity to continue employment next year. Perhaps some labour work over the winter if desired.

**Duties**:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Assist with tree care, including pruning and removal
- Operate and maintain various power tools and equipment
- Dig trenches and install irrigation systems
- Use hand tools to complete landscape projects
- Assist with hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Ensure that outdoor spaces are clean and well-maintained

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred
- Willingness to learn, go getter and self-starter attitudes are a must
- Mechanical knowledge to operate power tools and equipment safely
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
