**Position Overview**

As the Small Engine Repair & Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and management of our equipment and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for repairing small engines, handling electrical forklifts and batteries, preparing shipments, and managing customer interactions. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Small Engine Repair**: Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines for various types of equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- **Electrical Forklift and Battery Maintenance**: Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical forklifts and batteries, including troubleshooting electrical systems.
- **Shipping Preparation**: Prepare skids for shipment, including packing, securing, and labeling. Attention to detail in completing and managing shipping documents is of the utmost importance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- **Machinery Assembly**: Assemble light machinery using manuals and technical documentation, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
- **Warehouse Operations**: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching inventory.
- **Customer Interaction**: Deal directly with customers for equipment repairs, providing excellent service and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- **Forklift Operation**: Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials as required.
- **Microsoft Office Use**: Utilize Microsoft Office for administrative tasks.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience in small engine repair and warehouse management.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing small engines, electrical wiring and testing batteries.
- **Mechanical Aptitude**: Ability to assemble machinery from manuals and perform maintenance tasks.
- **Customer Service**: Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- **Forklift Certification**: Certified to operate forklifts (or willingness to obtain certification).
- **Software Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail in preparing and managing shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Education**: Technical diploma or certification in small engine repair, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and find effective fast solutions.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong ability to manage inventory and maintain an organized warehouse.
