**Job Description**:
IBI Group’s Development teams within our Intelligence division deliver complex solutions and push the limits of technology solutions. Our talented groups of systems professionals do more than just write code and debug - they make a significant impact on the design and development of state-of-the-art projects. IBI Group’s Toronto office is searching for a QA Analyst to join its growing and dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for performing test planning and execution for a number of products we develop at IBI Group

**Most of the Things You’ll Work On**:

- Work as part of passionate team to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process
- Develop detailed testing procedures - test plans, test scenarios, test cases for complex projects and products
- Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results
- Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the QA team on the status of quality
- Fully elaborate repro steps so that programmers can reproduce and fix issues
- Be a creative thinker who can quickly identify and test for functional ‘edge cases’ outside of expected functionality
- Self-motivator; able to grasp concepts quickly with mínimal supervision, take ownership of problems and follow them through to completion
- Be passionate, energetic and invested enough to report all defects, even ones that might seem insignificant to others
- Work independently and manage time extremely well

**Qualifications**:
**You'll need to have**:

- Minimum University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
- Ideally 3 to 4 years of experience in software quality assurance working on complex projects and products
- Experience in the creation, preparation, review, development and execution of test cases with defects tracked in defect management system
- Experience with Agile software development (particularly Scrum)
- Develop test plans and test scripts, execute functional and non-functional test cases and maintain test data ensuring maximum test coverage
- Thorough understanding of and experience in SDLC, STLC, defect life cycles
- Own all aspects of a QA program including but not limited to manual testing, functional testing, database testing, and regression testing
- Good to have: experience working with Swagger/Postman for API testing
- Nice to have: SQL Queries experience of fetching data from various databases
- Display strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills with a customer first mentality
- Demonstrate extremely strong written and verbal communication skills

Located at 55 St. Clair Ave West, this office is steps away from St. Clair station and is easily accessible by bike, TTC and car. Occupying 7 floors, with over 700 employees, it is the largest office at Arcadis IBI Group. The floors are open concept and represent our collaborative approach to projects.
