Description:
As the Supervisor, Health Information Records Management (HIRM) and Data Collection for South Zone, you will be responsible and accountable for ensuring positive performance outcomes of a dynamic team specialized in health information records, data collection, and administrative support. Reporting to the Manager, Health Information Records Management and Data Collection, you will provide day-to-day leadership, direction, organization, and expertise to HIRM and Data Collection teams across southern Alberta in support of the vision, mission, values, and business plan of Alberta Health Services (AHS). Specific accountabilities will include ensuring accurate, complete, and timely processing of requests; ensuring quality outcomes in compliance with provincial legislation, internal policies, procedures, and standards; and overseeing a high quality, locally managed access and disclosure service. You will support a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, integration, and consistency of integrated patient-and family-focused care. Relying on your advanced organization and time management skills, you will balance the support of a busy team with constantly changing operational needs that deliver critical health care services within the South Zone.
