**About the position**:
We are seeking an innovative & collaborative Project Manager to join our Cyber Security portfolio Our team has a mission to keep Canada’s economy safe, and secure.
Reporting to the Director, Cyber Architecture & Assurance, you will work with both the Cyber architecture and assurance teams to create leading edge cyber risk management processes.
Further - you will be provided with the autonomy to make decisions & changes along with the opportunity to consistently learn as technology in the cyber industry evolves. You will also have the full support of your leader, and team to further your Cyber career through the Bank’s customizable Learning & Development programs across various Cyber domains including tools, frameworks, and certifications.
**What you will do**
As a Project Manager, you will lead several project teams in delivering new and renewed cyber risk management processes. These projects typically involve multiple systems, processes, and stakeholders at various levels across several IT portfolios, and you will coordinate the input, support and communication with all functional areas that affect all requirements related to project scope, business value, risk and resources.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and present project proposals, project plans, status reports and change and risk logs
- Manage change requests and risk mitigation plans
- Work with resource managers to identify appropriate resources, manage their integration into the teams and provide performance feedback
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
- Provide advice and guidance to others on matters relating to project management practices and methodologies
- Participate in staffing and recruitment activities to ensure a high-quality project team
**What you need to succeed**
You are resourceful and well-organized, an innovative problem solver, self-starter and change contributor. You are also a great teammate and capable of working with various groups across multiple levels in an organization.
In addition, you have
- Advanced knowledge of project life-cycle management
- Solid understanding of IT service delivery and support processes
- Advanced communication and coordination skills
- Experience with JIRA (or similar project management and tracking tools)
**Nice-to-have**:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification
- Experience working in a large financial services/banking environment
- Experience working in a Cyber Security portfolio delivering on Cyber initiatives around Cyber risk management

- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
