**ABOUT THE JOB**

Marid Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Chaser to join our team This is an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual to join our growing team. As part of the Marid team you will work alongside our production, purchasing, and finance teams to ensure we meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional client service.

The Chaser is responsible for locating, retrieving, and transporting materials or products within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring that materials are available where and when they are needed to maintain efficient operations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Material Retrieval**: Locate and retrieve materials or products from storage locations based on production or shipping requirements. This may involve using handheld scanners or other tracking systems.
- **Transportation**: Move materials using carts, forklifts, or other equipment to ensure they reach the appropriate destination, such as production lines or shipping areas.
- **Inventory Monitoring**: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report shortages or overstock situations to supervisors. Ensure that materials are stored properly and in the correct locations.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Support order fulfillment by picking materials according to orders and ensuring accurate and timely delivery to production or shipping areas.
- **Documentation**: Maintain records of material movements, including quantities, locations, and times. Update inventory systems as needed to reflect changes in stock.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes safely and effectively. Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment as needed.
- **Communication**: Coordinate with other team members, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth material flow and address any issues related to material handling.

**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPEREINCE**
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage and organize materials efficiently to prevent delays and ensure accurate handling.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accurate in tracking and documenting materials, ensuring correct quantities and locations.
- **Physical Stamina**: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
- **Equipment Operation**: Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Relevant certifications may be required.
- **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of safety procedures and practices relevant to material handling and warehouse environments.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is often preferred.
- On-the-job training is usually provided, including training on specific equipment and procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
