**Responsibilities**:
- Set up stations and keep them stocked with all the supplies needed.
- Prepare food for service, like chopping veggies, prepping meat, and making sauces.
- Cook menu items alongside the kitchen team.
- Follow instructions from the executive or sous chef.
- Tidy up your station and handle any leftover food.
- Manage inventory levels properly.
- Ensure food is served together, tasty, and on time.
- Stick to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude with colleagues and customers.
**Requirements and skills**:
- Previous cooking experience, whether as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
- Good grasp of different cooking methods, ingredients, tools, and processes.
- Ability to work accurately and swiftly.
- Knowledgeable about the best practices in the industry.
- A diploma from culinary school is a plus.
**Additional duties**
- Collaborate with the chef to create daily specials.
- Assist in menu planning and development.
- Ensure compliance with resort-specific standards and procedures.
- Support in training new kitchen staff members.
- Handle special dietary requests from guests.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
