**POSITION TYPE**: Full-Time Position Available

**SALARY**: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*

**POSITION LOCATION**: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)



**DUTIES**
Reporting to the Chair of Price Institute of Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics, the Instructor will teach both online and on-campus micro-credentials and courses for Post Graduate Diploma programs. The Instructor will develop and teach courses in robotics, automation, control systems, and related topics. If required, time for professional development to learn relevant skills will be provided. Additional duties include collaborating with peers to update courses, contributing to the learning environment of the department by committing to ongoing professional development to stay current with industry practices, supporting the learning of peers, and participating in departmental and College projects and committees. Solid technical expertise paired with strong communication and intercultural skills are required to inspire students in a blended learning environment.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
- Significant practical industry experience in mechatronics principles, control systems, PLCs, robotics, and industrial automation
- Proficient in the operation of lab equipment for assigned courses of instruction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary instructional experience
- Certificate in Adult Education (CAE) or Technical Vocational Diploma
- Experience with online instruction and learning

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
