**Jefo is currently seeking a Senior Communications Advisor.**

Location : Saint-Hyacinthe

Salary : To be discussed

Shift : Day

Status : Permanent full-time

**Job summary**

Reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Products, the Senior Communications Advisor is involved in coordinating and carrying out projects for his/her team. He or she ensures that work deadlines are met and that everything is in place to support teams in carrying out projects.

**Main responsibilities**
- Supervise the communications team;
- Coordinate the media and communications plan and follow up with external partners;
- Coordinate regular communications between marketing team members and external consultants;
- Approves communications sent to various targets and media;
- Ensures that communications are sent on time;
- Supports the creation of marketing material;
- Develops and implements content, communication and media deployment strategies;
- Maintains regular communication with the various territories and keeps abreast of their needs;
- Coordinates projects with external agencies;
- Collaborates in the preparation and coordination of sales and corporate meetings;
- Prepares press releases and internal communications;
- Performs all other tasks related to the job.

**Required studies and experience**
- Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing, or equivalent;
- Relevant work experience in project coordination: Minimum five (5) years;
- Relevant work experience in team supervision: Minimum three (3) years.

**Skills required**
- Excellent spoken and written French and English, given the international scope of our communications (Spanish is an asset);
- Impeccable writing and correcting skills (French and English);
- Proficiency in Office suite software (Power Point, Word and Excel) and Adobe suite software (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat);
- Experience in the agri-food industry (an asset);
- Ability to work in a team, manage time and priorities;
- Approachability and communication skills;
- Autonomy and professional rigor.
