**SUMMARY**

In this position you will be reporting to the Plating & Processing Supervisor. As the Process Technician - Wash, you will be responsible for maintaining demand for production requirements.

**Work Shift Hours - Weekday Afternoon Shift - Monday - Thursday (4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.)**

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Part loading and unloading and the general support of the process
- Ensure both the safety of the operator and the components
- Participate in lean initiatives (i.e. 5S, TPM, process improvement teams)
- Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts
- Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedure
- Perform other duties as required
- Active participation in the implementation and execution of lean principles
- Perform other duties as assigned

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Typically 2 years of related manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated experience in material handling and hoist operations is required
- Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift up to 40 lbs

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous formal crane training
