We are seeking a reliable and organized Yard Coordinator to join our team. As a Yard Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Your role will involve coordinating with various teams, managing inventory, and operating heavy equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the yard remains safe and clean by organizing storage and maintaining cleanliness.
- Manage inventory, including OSP material for fibre construction, tools, and parts, including tasks such as receiving, inbound, outbound, and returns.
- Support the OSP team in the yard by refilling water, reloading materials, etc.
- Assist with picking up or delivering materials/equipment as required by the PMO office.
- Act as a helper for maintenance and repair of HDD drills and other vehicles/trailers/construction equipment.
- Organize yard development projects as necessary.
- Perform other activities as required by the PM office or Warehouse Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Possession of a valid G License.
- An AZ license would be considered a preferred qualification.
- Proficiency in using web-based software and Excel for inventory tracking and updates.
- Ability to operate forklifts, front loaders, mini excavators, snow plows, etc.
- Previous experience in yard management is an asset.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination for precise handling of tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to adhering to safety rules and regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- yard management: 1 year (required)
- operating forklifts, front loaders, or snow plows: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- DZ/AZ license (preferred)
