Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or computer-aided design (CAD) files
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure production goals are met
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with lathe operations
- Ability to use calipers and read blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
- Forklift operation experience is beneficial
Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

**Experience**:
- machinist: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Journeyman Machinist license (preferred)
