**Annual Salary: $101,493.60 - $126,868.95**

Reporting to the Vice President - Infrastructure & Planning and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director - Financial Services (the "Director") is responsible for the oversight of all Financial Services departments of St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG). The Director develops and implements accounting policies, coordinates systems and procedures, and completes of financial reporting including the year-end financial statements.

Leading the Manager - Financial Services, the Director provides leadership over the strategic and operational activities undertaken by the department including: payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general accounting and budgeting. The Director uses a collaborative team approach, inclusive of client and family partners, to plan for and operationalize financial services.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Degree in business administration, commerce or other related field
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required
- Minimum five years' experience working in a managerial capacity preferably in the health sector
- Knowledge of health care including provincial initiatives, applicable legislation and policy, including the Ontario Healthcare Reporting System

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Superior ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Superior ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with members of the SJCG management team, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify, understand, and meet/exceed the requirements of internal and external customers
- Ability to think and act strategically in a public sector and health care environment, including the ability to conceptualize and implement change strategies
- Excellent project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven acumen in business and financial management, with the ability to improve effectiveness and efficiency through the management and utilization of human, financial, capital and physical resources
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire vision, engage, motivate, develop, and recognize staff; proven ability to share skills and knowledge with others
- Proven abilities to facilitate collaboration, cooperation and coalitions to build effective teams
- Competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health & Safety Act

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
