Maintenance Person - Ottawa

**Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and address their concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Insures properties a clean and upkept properly.
- Installs floorings, paints, and repairs drywalls.
- Fabricate and install fixtures, equipment, and furniture as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- May need to move heavy furniture or equipment.

Qualifications ad requirements:

- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- has its own hand/power tools.
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills.
- Leadership skills to supervise and coordinate the work of contractors.
- Needs a car and valid driver's license to drive between properties.
