**Wholesale Counter Salesperson**

We are looking for an experienced Wholesale Counter Salesperson to join our team in the Southeast end of London. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunity for advancement. You’ll build strong relationships and support an incredibly diverse mix of industries including agriculture, automotive, food and beverage, construction, and many others. **Primary Position Responsibilities Include**:

- Counter Sales-serving walk-in customers
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Answer customer calls and identifies parts.
- May load and unload a shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Receives and processes customer orders.
- Maintains supplies inventory by recording quantities used and determining supplies needed.
- Informs customers of standard procedures or resolution of the problem.
- Determines the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and company adherence to policies.
- Practices safe material handling techniques.
- Generates invoices and quotes for counter sales orders.
- Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
- Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Provide information regarding pricing, delivery times, back orders and alternative parts
- Work with warehouse personnel to insure tickets are printed and parts are pulled in a timely fashion to insure customers’ parts are ready in a timely fashion, and
- Assume other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrate an understanding of effective selling methods.
- Have a working knowledge and complete understanding of how to process orders, quotes, credits, and backorders on the computer.
- Understands basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures.
- Works easily with others in a high paced work environment.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
- Be energetic and self-motivated.
- Always maintain a business-like manner
- Dedicated to continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Knowledge of the Fluid Power industry is considered an asset
