**Job Summary**:As an Automotive Dismantler you will be required to safely dismantle a variety of automotive parts from vehicles staged in the yard while maintaining the quality of parts being pulled from each vehicle. You will also be responsible to maintain your assigned yard vehicle by conducting circle checks and scheduling vehicle maintenance when needed.
**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Inspection of assigned work truck - (Check fluids, fuel, tires and compressor oil)
- Remove automotive parts safely while maintaining quality of parts
- QC all parts dismantled to ensure quality meets customer expectations.
- Follow safety procedures to insure safe work environment
- Ensure all parts removed are properly identified and tagged
- Deliver all dismantled parts to the Shipping for parts to be prepared for shipment to customers
**Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications**:
- Mechanical inclined with experience working on vehicles
- **Must **own various automotive tools including impact tools
- Ability to manage, organize and prioritize work
- Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate, must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma - GED
- Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure good productivity
- must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
**Physical Demands**:
- Ability to move/lift 50lbs
- Required to work in all weather elements
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
